Here, every stone holds a memory, and every passing breeze bears the name of a martyr.
Pain did not break us; it taught us how to rise again.
And loss did not extinguish our lamps; it rekindled within us the will to survive.
And the martyrs did not leave.
Instead, they became candles that lit the mountain night and a voice in the conscience of all who remain.
During the candlelight march, organized by the Eagle’s Eye Foundation in collaboration with the humanitarian organization #Von, which specializes in psychological support in Sweida, light and love, tears and hope met, as everyone said in unison:
From the womb of pain, free homelands are born.
And from the tears of mothers, the roots of hope are watered.
Whoever forgets their martyrs, forgets who they are. And whoever carries them in their heart can never be defeated…
