School for Excellence in Sweida

This title clearly explains this 27-year experience. It’s a unique experience in terms of work, the entrance exam for students and teachers, and the work environment for this group of students in Sweida .

This doesn’t detract from the excellence of the other schools, but let’s just say it’s a groundbreaking academic experience, producing students for advanced degrees in medicine and engineering, specializing at the level of Syria. The number of students annually is 600, meaning 600 have been awarded places in medicine and engineering, and the rest have received global scholarships for leadership skills.

Studying at this school doesn’t rely on cell phones, calculators, or computers, but on an actual memory, notebook, and pen, and I think it’s a precedent-setting experience globally in the 20th century and beyond.

And now the halls of this school are devoid of all the resources needed to continue, to build generations that will build civilization, due to the security and economic situation and what happened to the city of Sweida through murder, displacement, and arson. The students are crying out against injustice and demanding their most fundamental rights: to return to their schools and support them so they can continue their high school and university studies.

They think what happened in their city is a nightmare and will disappear, but after months of attacking Sweida and turning it into a disaster city, is there a savior?

Unfortunately, the voice has become an echo.
